Director to be an Olympic Ambassador - March 2008

Urszula has been asked to become an ambassador on behalf of Poles living in the UK for Get Set London Roadshow -  Hammersmith.

Olympic Ambassador Event

I am very pleased that myself and Joe Lewandowski represented Poles at one of the Roadshows, which took place at Lyric Square in Hammersmith on 26th March 2008. Run jointly by the London Development Agency and London 2012,the whole event was a very successful and enjoyable experience. The event brings to life some of London’s ambitions for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.  It was a great opportunity for all communities who live in London to find out how the 2012 Games will benefit jobs, business and skills, culture, sports and regeneration in the capital.

The London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be a wonderful occasion to remember. It will put London at the centre of the world both from a sporting point of view and from a cultural perspective and I am sure that together will can all contribute to its success!

Poles Returning Home - February/March 2008

Recent research, widely reported found that many UK based poles were considering returning to Poland. Several factors were stated including; A decline in sterling relative to the Zloty, The objective of working overseas to save for a home having been achieved and improved economic prospects in Poland.

New Europe Personnel continues to find that in the Professional and Skilled employment markets good quality candidates are available to work in the UK and internationally. Our philosophy is that we provide our clients access to well educated trained and highly motivated candidates. Such people are always an asset in demand. However the days of offering an East European candidate a package less than the local market rate have passed. We take the view that our candidates represent a quality and value proposition.

Opportunities in the Middle East - September 2007

We have recently expanded our coverage from The UK and Ireland to include the United Arab Emirates. A candidate was recently placed in Dubai and other assignments are in progress.
